My guest is James Swain. Mr. Swain's new novel MIDNIGHT RAMBLER, published by Ballantine Books is a beauty.
The story grabs you on the first page and never lets up. I loved this book. It has the best canine character, Buster, since Fireball Roberts in James Crumley's classic novel THE LAST GOOD KISS.
Mr. Swain has written a series featuring Tony Valentine that take place in the world of casinos and grifters. They are all great reads. MIDNIGHT RAMBLER should garner Mr. Swain a larger audience- one he deserves.
