Week of  April 20 | Ellen Sussman

This week's guest is Ellen Sussman, the author of ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS, available in trade paperback from Warner Books. 

ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS is Ms. Sussman's first novel. It tells the story of Blair Clemens and her sixteen year old daughter, Amanda, as they struggle to deal with a difficult event in Blair's life. Their situation is furthur complicated when Luke Bellingham, a high school acquaintance of Blair's, enters their lives. It is a beautiful story of love and acceptance. It also has a wonderful dog, Sweetpea.

I enjoyed reading ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS, and I enjoyed talking about writing with Ms, Sussman. I think we're going to be hearing a lot more from her in the coming years. I hope you enjoy our conversation.
