Week of April 18, 2007 | Dan Simmons Dan Simmons and I discuss THE TERROR, published by Little, Brown. I have followed Mr. Simmon's career with great interest. He has won awards in several genres, including the Hugo award for OLYMPOS. THE TERROR explores the fate of Sir John Franklin's last expedition, an event that remains one of the great mysteries of Arctic exploration. I was fascinated with Mr. Simmon's approach to the craft of writing- and I think you will be too.
