Week of June 29 | Julia Spencer Fleming

This week's guest is Julia Spencer-Fleming, author of the popular Clare Ferguson/ Russ Van Alstyne mysteries. We discuss TO DARKNESS AND TO DEATH, recently published by St. Martins'. 

This is the fourth book in the series and Ms. Spencer-Fleming uses a creative structure to tell the story. Fans of the television 24 will particularly enjoy it. The events take place over the course of a single day. 

OUT OF THE DEEP I CRY, the third novel in the series, was nominated for an Edgar Award for best mystery novel last year. Julia shares her thoughts on the series during our conversation, and I found her comments to be both interesting and revealing. I think you will too.
