Week of  May 25 |  John Dunning

This week's guest is John Dunning, the author of the popular Cliff Janeway "Bookman" series.  BOOKED TO DIE created a collecting frenzy when it was published by Scribner in 1992.

The price of true first editions went from $200 - $500 in the initial craze. Mr. Dunning took his love and knowledge of the collector's market, created a cast of fascinating book scouts, and then wrote a wonderfully satisfying mystery. 

THE SIGN OF THE BOOK, recently published by Scribners finds Cliff Janeway in fine form again. I really liked this book.  

Mr. Dunning and I discuss his work, his career on the radio in Denver, and the current state of the book collecting market. I had a blast doing the interview. I hope you enjoy it too.
