Week of June 26, 2007 | Harlan Coben

This week’s guest is Harlan Coben, the author of THE WOODS, published by Dutton.

This is Mr. Coben’s second appearance on the show. THE WOODS is the story of how a horrible night at summer camp twenty years ago continues to reverberate through the lives of the protagonist, Paul Copeland, and all of the families touched by the deaths.

Paul’s first love, Lucy Gold, has led a disappointing life, teaching creative writing at a community college, and the mysterious appearance of a student in one of her classes leads to her crossing paths with Paul again.

THE WOODS is Harlan Coben at his best. It contains all of the twists and turns readers have come to expect from Mr. Coben, and offers a touching love story as well.

PROMISE ME, which featured the return of Myron Bolitar is now available in paperback. During the interview you will hear Mr. Coben discuss the French film version of TELL NO ONE, which was a huge success in France, winning several major prizes. Enjoy!
