Please meet Diana Abu-Jaber. I try to bring you new, original authors that too often fly under today’s crazy publishing radar. Ms. Jaber’s editor at Norton sent me a copy of ORIGIN. I read fifty pages and called her to set up an interview.

ORIGIN is Ms. Abu-Jaber’s fourth book. Her third book was THE LANGUAGE OF BAKLAVA, a memoir that received rave reviews. I was unprepared for ORIGIN. It is stunning in its creativity and complexity, a true literary achievement that deserves to be read.
